In April and June, the Foundation's approved 66 grants and more than $3.1m through our Responsive Grantmaking program to support nearly 30 communities across the state.




Arts

August Wilson Red Door Project -- $50,000 over 1 year to facilitate dialogue on race and public safety through artistic programs statewide

Chamber Music Northwest -- $10,000 over 1 year to support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts throughout the organization to improve the responsiveness of artistic programs in the Portland area

Disjecta Contemporary Art Center Inc -- $25,000 over 1 year to support operations and expanded artistic programming in Multnomah County

Oregon East Symphony -- $30,000 over 3 years to support operations and music education programs for youth in rural Eastern Oregon

Portland 5 Centers for the Arts Foundation -- $10,000 over 1 year to provide culturally-responsive arts education programs for low-income youth of color in Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties

Portland Columbia Symphony -- $10,000 over 1 year to support an executive director position to strengthen artistic programs for audiences in Multnomah County

Triangle Productions -- $10,000 over 1 year to produce and debut a musical, "That's No Lady, That's Darcelle!" celebrating LGBTQ movement leader Walter Cole for LGBTQ and general audiences in Multnomah County

Westside Cultural Alliance -- $20,000 over 2 years to launch an arts and culture leadership incubator for Washington County

Young Audiences of Oregon Inc -- $25,000 over 1 year to support professional development for teaching artists and arts education programs for teens across 10 Oregon counties

Catholic Community Services of the Mid-Willamette Valley and Central Coast -- $25,000 over 1 year to strengthen the Enhanced Support for Foster Parents pilot to retain foster parents in Marion County

Court Appointed Special Advocates -- $30,000 over 2 years to establish volunteer CASA Visit Monitor positions to expand services for children in the child welfare system in rural Klamath County

HOLLA -- $45,000 over 3 years to hire an executive director to lead expansion of mentoring programs for low-income youth of color in East Multnomah County

Jefferson County Youth Organization Corporation -- $20,000 over 1 year to support operations and Teen Center programs serving primarily low-income youth of color in rural Jefferson County

Living Room -- $10,000 over 1 year to support operations and programs serving LGBTQ youth in Clackamas County

Neighbors for Kids -- $60,000 over 2 years to expand early childhood, after school, and summer programs serving low-income children, including those with special needs, and their families in rural Lincoln County

p:ear -- $60,000 over 2 years to hire a Works Program director to oversee job training and social enterprise programs supporting low-income homeless youth in Multnomah County, through a challenge match

Portland Children's Museum -- $50,000 over 1 year to construct an interactive exhibit for children and youth in Multnomah County, incorporating STEM and various cultural perspectives

Portland Meet Portland -- $20,000 over 1 year to hire a mentorship coordinator and create a paid internship program for immigrant and refugee youth in Multnomah County

Tillamook County Women's Resource Center -- $25,000 over 1 year to establish a partnership with rural Tillamook County's Juvenile Justice Department to provide early intervention and trauma-informed services to low-income youth who have been exposed to or are experiencing intimate partner violence

Albina Opportunities Corporation -- $20,000 over 1 year to address capital access disparities for women- and minority-owned businesses in the Portland area

Bethlehem Inn -- $75,000 over 1 year to construct a new transitional housing facility to serve very-low-income adults in Bend

Casa Latinos Unidos de Benton County -- $90,000 over 3 years to support operations and expand culturally-specific programs serving low-income Latino residents, including immigrants, in Linn and Benton Counties

Center for African Immigrants & Refugees Organization -- $30,000 over 1 year to build organizational capacity to strengthen programs serving African communities in Multnomah and Washington Counties

Center for Intercultural Organizing -- $180,000 over 3 years to implement the first phase of a 5-year strategic plan to bridge urban/rural divides and improve outcomes for low-income immigrants and communities of color statewide

Coos Cares -- $20,000 over 1 year to support operations, transitional housing, and other wrap-around programs serving low-income children and families in Coos County

DAWNS House -- $30,000 over 2 years to support operations and transitional housing programs for low-income women in recovery in Deschutes County

Farmworker Housing Development Corporation -- $181,000 over 3 years to support a new housing development manager position to build the capacity of the organization to develop culturally-specific housing for low-income Latino farmworkers primarily in rural Marion County

Food for Lane County -- $150,000 over 2 years to renovate a food distribution warehouse and expand the capacity of the organization to serve more low-income people in Lane County

Imagine Possibilities -- $11,500 over 1 year to create a therapeutic sensory room in the organization's facility to better serve low-income adults and youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Portland area

JOIN -- $150,000 over 3 years to hire a program director and human resources director to strengthen core operations and programs serving primarily people of color experiencing homelessness in the Portland area

Latino Network -- $100,000 over 1 year to strengthen human resources infrastructure, internal professional development, and youth development programming serving Latino communities in Multnomah County

Northwest Coastal Housing -- $30,000 over 1 year to support operations and housing programs serving low-income people in rural Lincoln County

Options for Homeless Residents of Ashland -- $47,000 over 2 years to hire an executive director to strengthen services to people experiencing homelessness in rural Jackson County

Partnership for Safety and Justice -- $40,000 over 1 year to support operations and programs to reform criminal justice policies and institutions impacting low-income individuals and people of color statewide

Quadriplegics United Against Dependency -- $72,000 over 2 years to purchase and install wall-mounted lifts to improve the safety and comfort of residents who use wheelchairs in the Portland area

Rebuilding Together Portland Oregon -- $5,000 over 1 year to support operations and home-repair programs serving primarily low-income seniors in Multnomah County

Rebuilding Together Washington County Inc -- $5,000 over 1 year to provide free home repairs, rehabilitation, and accessibility modifications for low-income, manufactured home owners in Washington County

Sande School of Horsemanship -- $10,000 over 1 year to support facility improvements to improve ADA compliance and accessibility for people with disabilities in rural Columbia County

Special Olympics Oregon -- $50,000 over 1 year to rebuild the infrastructure and financial capacity of Special Olympics Oregon to serve athletes with disabilities statewide

St. Vincent de Paul Society of Bend -- $15,000 over 1 year to renovate affordable housing facilities serving low-income people in Deschutes County

Trans*Ponder -- $40,000 over 1 year to support operations and peer-led programs to improve outcomes and opportunities for transgender and non-binary individuals in Lane County

Umpqua Community Development Corporation -- $40,000 over 1 year to repair and renovate a community center at an affordable manufactured housing park serving low-income people in rural Douglas County

Open School Inc -- $100,000 over 3 years to build capacity at Open School East to expand services to youth of color from low-income families in East Multnomah County

OSLC Developments Inc -- $118,000 over 3 years to adapt an evidence-based school readiness program to better serve low-income Latino English language learners and their families in Lane County

Serendipity Center Inc -- $60,000 over 2 years to implement an evidence-based curriculum to improve outcomes for low-income K-12 students with mental and behavioral issues in Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties

Northwest Earth Institute -- $15,000 over 1 year to support operations and sustainability programs statewide

Familias en Acción -- $70,000 over 2 years to implement a culturally-specific food equity and advocacy curriculum to improve health outcomes for Latino mothers and their children statewide

Mental Health Association of Oregon -- $40,000 over 1 year to hire a full time human resources and diversity coordinator to improve human resource practices and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to strengthen supports for Oregon's mental health and addiction peer community

Mosaic Medical -- $75,000 over 1 year to purchase a new mobile medical clinic to serve homeless individuals in Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson Counties

North by Northeast Community Health Center -- $40,000 over 2 years to support operations and health programs serving primarily low-income African American communities in Multnomah County
